Lancome likes magnets

Get glam with Lancome's latest nail color: Lancome’s Le Magnetique. Not only is this polish a trendy and sophisticated shade of burgundy, but it contains magnetic particles that create a "star" effect (see below). How does this work one may ask? Simple. Hold nails over the bottle's built in magnet before the second coat of polish dries and watch as the particles align into a star-shaped pattern. Trendy and technolicious! Word on the street is that the polish is available at Nordstrom for $17- being beautiful doesn't come cheap, but I guarantee this polish will have people wondering what salon you went to! Perfect.

I think this innovation is really interesting and neat, but I still hold onto the addage that any sort of design on nails is tacky. What do you think?

I think this invention is a kind-of interesting way to spice up a boring old manicure. Maybe not for all people, but definitely something to look into!
