Technology can be so silly sometimes

So this week I decided to write about technology and as I was flipping through my favorite technological site and came across (gasp) something that pertains to fashion as well as technology!

Apparently the sub company
Erbert and Gerberts ( a small sub chain located only in Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Minnesota) has come up with a new marketing campaign. Instead of using old-fashion and expensive commercials to advertise its foods, they have started using a"human flip book" as advertisement.
Very interesting alternative.
According to gizmodo.com a commercial usually takes about $365,000 to produce and use, who knew? Adsurb and uncool, so why not use fashion as a clever way to get the point across? Well done Erbert and Gerberts! props.

Check out the video below and let me know what you think. Fashionable use
of technology...replacing old-fashioned food ad campaigns? Sounds fabulous.

Breakfast with Blackberrys; Where Fashion and Techonology Finally Merge.

Starring Audrey Hepburn in that famous
“little black dress” one of the most popular and influential fashion movies of all time without a doubt is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Fashion can be linked with many things, one of these things being technology. Modern day women have seemed to replace the “little black dress” with a “little black blackberry” in this new fashionably technological world. Is the must-have new fall Marc Jacobs bag being replaced by the must-have new touch screen ipod? With technology changing at a rapid pace, it is steadily becoming more and more like
FASHION.
Designers display their fall lines only to be replaced with their spring lines in mere months. We are starting to see this trend more and more with technology. One has to wonder, has technology become as disposable as clothing? And if so, where should we draw the line?
